Friday Night Social Club - 16+ yrs

Fridays, 4pm-8pm

Friday Night Social Club presents a fun, casual, social environment where autistic and/or neurodivergent folks are invited to hang out and unwind after all the hard work done during the week. Our new and improved structure is better than ever, you won’t want to miss out!

Friday nights at the Spectrum studio include playing board games or group video games, singing karaoke, doing art activities, having dance parties and more! Each week, Chef Pete Papaioannou prepares a delicious group dinner including meat and vegetarian options. After sharing a meal, Social Club participants can get comfy and enjoy the screening of some classic and some new Spectrum movies.

Come hang out, share a meal, play some games and watch movies with us!

FRIDAY SOCIAL SCHEDULE (FLEXIBLE)

4:00pm: Participants arrive and mingle

4:20pm: Chef Pete presents healthy homemade snacks

4:30-5:00pm: Group Activity #1

5:00-5:30pm: Group Activity #2

5:30-6:00pm: Preparations for Dinner

6:00pm: Dinner is served!

6:45pm: Relaxation

7:00-7:30pm: Screening of Spectrum movies

7:45pm: Getting ready to go, folks taking Adapted Transport are accompanied to the lobby

8:00pm: End of social club

Note: The cost is $40/session for drop in, but if you sign up for the full term the cost is $35 x 14 weeks = $490!

Le Club social de vendredi soir offre un environnement social amusant et décontracté où les personnes autistes et/ou neurodivergentes sont invitées à se retrouver et à se détendre après tout le dur labeur accompli pendant la semaine. Notre nouvelle structure améliorée est meilleure que jamais, vous ne voudrez pas la manquer !

Les vendredis soirs au studio Spectrum, on peut jouer à des jeux de société ou à des jeux vidéo en groupe, chanter au karaoké, faire des activités artistiques, organiser des soirées dansantes et bien d'autres choses encore ! Chaque semaine, le chef Pete Papaioannou prépare un délicieux dîner de groupe comprenant des options de viande et de végétarisme. Après avoir partagé le repas, les participants au Social Club peuvent se mettre à l'aise et profiter de la projection de quelques films classiques et de quelques nouveaux films du Spectrum.

Venez vous détendre, partager un repas, jouer à des jeux et regarder des films avec nous!

16h00 : Les participants arrivent et se mélangent

16h20 : Le chef Pete présente des en-cas maison sains.

16h30-17h00 : Activité de groupe n°1

17h00-17h30 : Activité de groupe n°2

17 h 30 - 18 h 00 : Préparatifs pour le souper

18h00 : Prêts à manger!

18 h 45 : Détente

19:00-19:30 : Projection de films Spectrum

19:45 : Préparation au départ, les personnes en transport adapté sont accompagnées dans le hall d'entrée

20h00 : Fin du club social

Remarque : Le coût est de 40 $/session pour une session sans rendez-vous, mais si vous vous inscrivez pour la durée complète, le coût est de 35 $ x 14 semaines = 490 $!
